When my wife grimaced and said "Ow!" to him drilling (with him KNOWING that the anesthetic was not working), he jerked the equipment out of her mouth and told her to find another dentist (knowing that he's the only dentist within an hr of where we live who accepts her medical coverage while pregnant).
Dr. Touchstone is EXTREMELY rude! While sitting in the waiting room I heard him say "I'm sick of Medicaid patients no call no show. I think I'm going to stop seeing them all together." That is UNACCEPTABLE! It was me & another lady sitting in the waiting room. I assumed she had Medicaid. The receptionist apologized to her. Now to my appointment I needed to have a tooth pulled and he wanted to do a $4500 treatment plan. He made EVERY excuse in the book as to why he didn't want to pull it after REPEATED attempts of me saying I couldn't afford it. He was just simply plain out RUDE! Needless to say he didn't pull it and I left and will NEVER return! The receptionist and his assistant were really nice.
He then insulted another patient in front of everyone in the waiting room (using profanity).
This dentist insulted my wife and I for not being able to afford dental care prior to this point. He also insulted our intelligence for not being able to afford dental care out of pocket. She's 20 y/o, and I'm a 24 y/o military veteran who recently separated. We are both college students trying to get by with a baby on the way.
